Flexible UV Curing Configurations

Alpna retrofit UV systems are designed for seamless integration into sheetfed presses. Depending on press size, number of printing units, coating requirements and production goals, UV units can be positioned between printing units (interdeck) and at the end of the press (end-of-press).

The configurations below illustrate common arrangements for five- and six-colour presses, including presses equipped with coaters. The final system layout can be tailored to the specific machine and application.
